At about 9 o'clock morning, a group of protesters gathered themselves at the national assembly gate to protest against the herdsmen killing in the nation. According to one of the protesters he said that they have come on a peaceful protest so as to create awareness that day by day more lives are being lost to the herdsmen attack not just in Benue but also in other states of the federation.

The house of Reps committee on governmental affairs said on Monday 21st may 2018 that about 1.493 Trillion revenue due to the government was not remitted by lottery operators in the country. The chairman house committee on governmental affairs Hon. Dr Hussaini Suleiman Kangiwa during the investigative hearing in Abuja stated that the operators only remitted #7.6 billion within the last 11 years.
